Roscomnadzor informed online – encyclopedia “Wikipedia” that is necessary to make the article “Smoking Cannabis” in a single register of sites containing illegal content. The decision was taken due to the fact that the article was published methods of smoking narcotic substances.
In April this year, this article has already got into the list of banned sites, then it has been amended. After modifications, the article was returned. Later, the “Wikipedia” has again received notice that the article should be returned in resstr, because it took almost original form.
Director of Russia’s “Wikipedia” Vladimir Medeyko, said online – encyclopedia is not going to do anything to resolve the situation. Medeyko also said that if the publication of a particular article is illegal – and then she encyclopedia will be “outside the law”.
According to the general director of “Wikipedia”, in April of articles have been elected prohibiting section on how to use cannabis, but later it appeared the head of the “smoking device”, and do not know when and on whose initiative.
