WSJ: Apple to test the big screens for the iPhone - BBC

In Apple’s big test screens for the new iPhone, writes The Wall Steet Journal , citing sources familiar with the situation. According to some reports, the developers intend to create a smart, diagonal displays which range from 4.8 to 6 inches. As recalled by the newspaper in 2013, appeared on the market the iPhone 5 with a four-screen TV.

It is not known whether the new design will get Apple to mass production: the company often tests the various options of the devices before a final decision on the future strategy, the article says.
