DNA analysis revealed similarities with yeti hybrid of white and brown bears - KM.RU

Genetics Professor Bryan Sykes (Oxford University) analyzed the DNA, allegedly belonging to the yeti, and came to the conclusion that the creature may be a subspecies of brown bear, reports The Independent.

In their study, Sykes analyzed the hair of two unknown animals. One of them was found in the western Himalayan region, and the second – in Bhutan. As it turned out, the studied samples are exactly identical to the DNA of an ancient polar bear who lived more than 40,000 years ago. This bear was closely related to the brown bear.

According to Sykes, can explain the origin of Bigfoot crossing the brown and polar bears.

Recall that for several centuries fixed contacts of people with the Yeti. In particular, this occurs in the Himalayas. According to witnesses, the Yeti is a huge hairy ape-like creature.
