Earlier, divers reported that the probe have reached up to the “big” piece of meteorite, the size of which, according to preliminary data estimated 50 to 90 centimeters. But then his trail was lost.

Total divers found 12 fragments, which are transmitted to scientists for study and description weight from 569 grams to 21.5 kilograms.

Four of the eight first objects recovered from the lake Tchebarkul really are fragments of the meteorite “Chelyabinsk”. The others – it rocks, typical of the area – said the director of the Center for Innovation and project management expertise of CSU Andrew Kocherov.

Who examination is still four objects for which conducted the initial examination and description, taken the necessary material for research. “The bark of melting and structural features characteristic of the meteorite has only one sample with a mass of 3.9 kg, – the expert added.
