Moscow. September 26th. INTERFAX.RU – Roscomnadzor posted in Facebook, Gmail and Twitter notifications to create in Russia as the organizers of the dissemination of information, said “News” the deputy head of the supervisory authority Maxim Ksenzov.
The newspaper reminds that on 1 August to take effect signed by the president of Russia on May 5th Amendment law “On Information, Information Technologies and Protection of Information”, “Connection” and the Code of Administrative Offences (CAO), according to which bloggers, the number of visitors exceeds 3,000 people per day are required to comply with certain restrictions, similar to the current rules for the media.
The same law also introduced requirements for sites and systems to ensure the reception, transmission, and delivery ( or) processing electronic communications network users. Checking into Roskomnadzor as organizer information dissemination such site shall, within six months to keep “on the territory of the Russian Federation about the facts reception, transmission, delivery, and (or) voice processing, writing, images, sounds or other electronic communications network users the Internet. ” For failure to fulfill this requirement face fines for legal entities – up to 500 thousand rubles.
