Astronauts early implemented the basic tasks go beyond the ISS – First Channel

Russian cosmonauts early implemented the basic tasks go beyond the ISS and back to the space station. Maksim Shur, Alexander Samokutyayev spent in the open space of about 4 hours.

They worked in domestic spacesuits “Orlan-MK” – in particular spent dismantling old appliance, took samples from the windows in order to assess the degree of possible wear, and spent photographing plating station. It was the 40th spacewalk by Russian ISS program.

The rest of the crew – Russian Elena Serova, American astronauts Reid Wiseman and Barry Wilmore, and European astronaut Alexander Gerst – coordinate the progress of work on board the orbital complex.
