The company Yota Devices, developer of the domestic smartphone brand YotaPhone, is working on a tablet. As a smartphone, a tablet designed with two screens: on the one hand – the usual, the opposite – based on electronic ink technology. This was “Izvestia” said the head of the company Yota Devices Vladislav Martynov. According to him, the company now focuses on its core product – YotaPhone, but work on the creation of the tablet is already underway.
One of the inventors YotaPhone – Dmitry Gorilovsky (he is now engaged in their own projects) is confident that if Yota Devices create a tablet, it should be great with screen 9 or 10 inches (for iPad – 9,7 inches). In this case, the cost of the device will be quite high.
– no second screen cost can be around $ 300-450, but the display with electronic ink will add to this amount approximately $ 150 – suggests Gorilovsky.
Martynov sure that the cost of the tablet may be high, but for this device “is not the most important».

Martynov said that the development process begins with the concept of the device. Specialists companies offer different ideas chips. These ideas are transferred to the unit that evaluates their business efficiency and perspectives.

Another important feature of electronic ink – the image on the screen clearly visible even in bright sunlight – according to the developers of the company, is not enough to get people to buy more expensive device.
Dmitry Gorilovsky believes that if the company still Yota Devices
decides to release a tablet, it will likely not be a two-way
device. However, Yota Devices believe that they can develop a unique “script” for the tablet with two screens.

Evgenij Kozlov, Yota Devices will be difficult to work in the market
smartphones. In YotaPhone second display is most often used to
