JSC “RKS” complete the whole complex of necessary work to finalize the GLONASS system in 2015. This was announced by CEO Andrew Tyulin in an interview with the newspaper “Izvestia».
Today, at a press conference by representatives of JSC “Russian Space Systems” made an official statement, which concerned GLONASS. They reported that by the end of this year, the system will be ready for the start of its operation. This explains in more detail the industrial Journalism Club.
At the press conference, representatives of the Russian Space Systems said that the GLONASS project is at the final stage of its formation. By the end of this year, the system will be ready for it commissioned. Such statements are very encouraging, especially when you take into account the fact that a few weeks earlier test processes in the system was suspended, and without telling the true cause. Now, however, it is already known that the work on the project continues. So, the creators have signed network diagrams that indicate the imminent start of the system.
According to the experts, all the necessary work for such improvements have already been conducted and approved by the network schedule. Regarding the future of the Russian GLONASS system, Tyulin advocates respect for rationality and caution in its use. In another case, such changes in its work can only hurt.
The day before, the media has been informed about the plans to replace the imported components of the GLONASS system for domestic counterparts. Complete this process is planned by 2020. It was also reported that by the end of this year, GLONASS at least catch up with American counterpart – GPS.
