Hellouinsky asteroid came as a surprise to scientists – Moskovsky Komsomolets

On the eve of NASA experts reported that Halloween closer to Earth a giant asteroid.

The asteroid, which is almost 20 times more of the Chelyabinsk meteorite is known formally in 2015 TB145, however, has already received an informal name “helouinsky.” It will take place on our planet at a distance of 499,000 kilometers, equivalent to 1.3 of the distance from Earth to the Moon.

However, for scientists it has become a surprise – it was able to find only a few weeks ago.
