He said that since the investigations are carried out in the Moscow laboratories, most likely the remains for further research be given from St. Petersburg to the capital. At the same time the date of burial of the remains of the royal family will depend on the speed of research.

Earlier Mironenko told RIA Novosti that the burial of the remains of the royal family may be held in February next year.

In the fall, investigators resumed investigation the deaths of members of the Russian Imperial House of Romanov, instituted in 1993 following the discovery of a group of burial in the vicinity of Yekaterinburg. At the end of September it was carried out the exhumation of the remains of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna. There were also traces of blood samples taken from the clothes of the Emperor Alexander II.

In this case, the official representative of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said that studies have once again point to the authenticity of the test “Yekaterinburg remains”. For example, the remains of Nicholas II was identified by a rare genetic mutation – heteroplasmy.
