ISS crew celebrated the Catholic Christmas – Look

The Russians Yuri Malenchenko, Sergei Volkov and Mikhail Kornienko, Americans Timothy Kopra and Scott Kelly, and the Briton Timothy Peak celebrated Christmas on the ISS.

Recall Malenchenko, copra and Peak arrived at the ISS on December 15.

December 23 the first transport spacecraft new series “Progress MS-01″ on the first try docked with the International Space Station in automatic mode.

The truck delivered to the ISS about 2.5 tons of cargo, including “dry” cargo, fuel, water and compressed oxygen, as well as Christmas and New Year’s gifts for the crew.

A transport ship the new modification “Progress MS” was created RSC “Energy” as a result of deep modernization of a series of “Progress M”. Most of the technical solutions incorporated in the design of “MS Progress” will subsequently be used to create a manned transport spacecraft new generation.
