American company managed to re-launch a missile and landed New Shepard – Interfax

Moscow. January 23. INTERFAX.RU – American aerospace company Blue Origin has announced the launch and successful landing suborbital rockets New Shepard, informs BBC reports citing the company.

New Shepard reached an altitude of 101.7 km, then the capsule and reusable stage rocket landed successfully to recover and re-use, the report said.

New Shepard – it’s the same launch vehicle, which the company has experienced in November. Thus, Blue Origin has created the first commercial vertical missile, which failed to launch into space for the second time, said the BBC.

Earlier, another private space company SpaceX failed to implement controlled descent launcher to use it again. Then, as reported, the speed of the machine was in the normal range, but the rocket has summed up one of the retractable legs, which should keep it in an upright position after landing.

However, the BBC citing experts compare launches Blue Origin rocket and SpaceX correctly. The company SpaceX is engaged in delivery of cargo to the ISS, its missiles are moving at a much faster speed, rising to a greater height than the New Shepard.

Blue Origin is also developing a triple spacecraft designed for brief suborbital flight.

The head Jeff Bezos Blue Origin is the owner and founder of the Internet company Amazon.com.
