The corresponding order was signed by the head of the federal agency research organizations (Fano) Mikhail Kotyukov. The new structure will bring together 11 organizations network Fano Russia on the basis of the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center.
At the moment, it is one of the largest integration projects of federal agencies – work together in a federal research center in Krasnoyarsk, SB RAS institutes will conduct science, agricultural and medical profile. The total number of employees of the center will be about 2 thousand people.

Prospects for the development of the Federal Research Centre for 2015 were discussed at different venues, including the meetings of the branches of the Russian Academy of Sciences and in the framework of the joint working group Fano-RAS. As a result, the program of development of the center was approved by the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and was supported by the Russian government.
Combining intellectual potential and research infrastructure of institutions included in the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Science will accelerate the development of fundamental and applied research in the field of space, information, biosphere technology and medicine.
On the initiative of research groups, historical names of the institutions included in the research center, will be saved. In this case the control system of the new organization will be built by analogy with federal university management system.
Already we discussed projects that will integrate the development of science SO RAN in agricultural research, and then implement them in agricultural production.
As noted by Mikhail Kotyukov generated Center – an example of a unique interdisciplinary academic core around which a large-scale scientific and educational complex can be formed. The restructuring of the network of scientific organizations under Fano Russia began in 2015. Plan the first phase of the reorganization approved by the Russian government, it includes 23 of the integration project.
At the present time in different regions of the country have created 22 federal research centers, Krasnoyarsk Research Center became the twenty-third.
