Scientists: twins live longer – St. Petersburg Diary

The Twins
 live longer than people “single” – established Danish scientists. That is the conclusion figures
 Science led the study, which analyzed data from almost three thousand pairs
 twins, said the publication PLoSONE.

In
 study examined data on life expectancy of people born between
 1870 and 1900. Analyzing the figures, scientists have found an interesting pattern:
 life-twin men was longer than that of other men,
 approximately 6%. While the average life span of men is only about 45
 years, the newspaper notes. Female twins lived 10% longer than the others, with an average life expectancy of 60 years.

The Danish
 the researchers concluded that the duration of life of twins
 positively affects mainly related mutual support and emotional
 proximity.
